MY PLEDGE TO YOU
Being the victim of a crime can change who you are. DO NOT give up hope! Avoid making major decisions or big life changes. To better recover from the negative effects of trauma and return to a normal lifestyle, one needs to know as much as possible about it. I pledge to help you become aware of your true potential, character and motives. You cannot course correct or make well-informed decisions until you understand your own nature, feelings, reactions, and past experiences. Once you embark on your own personal self-discovery journey, you are more than likely to not repeat old self-limiting patterns of behavior.
I pledge to help you create your own justice playbook and focus on your influencing behavior. Once you are exposed to new ways to play the game of life, you will become empowered to see events from a logical (rather than emotional) perspective. This change of response equips you to selectively choose your future responses to difficult situations in life. Your personal action plan is put into motion to prevent barriers, address and acknowledge root causes, so that you succeed and continue to build back confidence.
I pledge to help you with social skills so that every interaction you have is purpose driven. My Coaching focuses on the development of skillsets that facilitate interaction and communication with others. Being your own advocate will require you to work with many people and the legal process can be slow and overwhelming.
Has your daughter been the victim of a crime? I pledge to help your daughter and serve as her Mentor. I will help her with school and community engagement. Participation and involvement in activities within her school and community is very important. Community service teaches compassion, understanding, encourages social interactions, builds problem solving skills, aids in academia and gives your daughter the opportunity to network. Service is a principle that we believe is essential for ensuring self-growth and awareness. Participants involved in service benefit from the experience and invest in their communities. My coaching client participants will learn to balance engagement activities with other activities as a regular part of their daily lives. This balance is beneficial to your lifetime survival skills. I am here to help you train up your daughter in the way that she should go; even when she is old she will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
“Mentoring at its core, guarantees young people that there is someone who cares about them, assures them they are not alone in dealing with day-to-day challenges, and makes them feel like they matter. Research confirms that quality mentoring relationships have powerful positive effects on young people in a variety of personal, academic and professional situations. Ultimately, mentoring connects a young person to personal growth and development, and social and economic opportunity. Yet one in three young people will grow up without this critical asset.” -Mentor.org
